I was complaining about President Obama making promises that he has not kept. Such as your taxes will not go up one dime, your health care will go down about 2500 dollars per year for a family of four, if you like your health care plan and your doctor you can keep them. He would cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term. He would have an immigration plan in place. What he really meant, was that if congress would allow it we would have open borders.
My wife corrected me, she said that I have forgotten that he promised that energy prices would necessarily sky rocket, he would get the troops out of Iraq, wind down the war in Afghanistan and close down the prison at Guantanamo. Gasoline prices have gone from $1.89 in 2009 to about $3.45. The liberals claim that the reason for the low price in 2009, were because the Bush recession had screwed up the economy. I’m still under the impression that the recession was caused by the brilliant Democrat plan, community reinvestment, of loaning money to unqualified people that defaulted on their obligations. If you have by chance noticed, when government gets its hand in the pie the pie is soon contaminated, and then the working tax payer is left to pay for the mistake. The banks took advantage of the government guarantee of the bad loans. It never ceases to amaze me that people would rather believe what the Democrats and their lap dog media people say than do a little research and see what was really happening in Washington. The Republicans were trying to put the brakes on Fannie Mae And Freddie Mac in early 2001. Go to (2004 Senate hearings on Fannie Mae) or(Time line on Fannie Mae on Fox News) and see who was blocking efforts to stop the runaway train.
The troops are out of Iraq and the terrorists are back. War is Hell, but having your head cut off because you don’t believe the way ISIS thinks you should is Hell too. Those that died and those that have been severely wounded paid a horrific price for what? a political promise. The planet is going to hell in a hand basket, and the President is consumed with fund raising and golf. He hasn’t closed the prison at Guantanamo, but he lets the worst of the bad guys out.
Your electricity bill will go up about 3.1% this year, and you had better pray that the cap and trade law doesn’t get passed. If the law is passed, the average home owner will pay $175 more per month by 2020.
